To provide and maintain quality nursing care for individuals with Substance Use Disorders and their families through education, training and research. To provide an environment that promotes a superior level of knowledge in the field of Chemical Dependency Nursing.
National Association of Chemical Dependency Nurses (NACDN), formerly Maryland Association of Chemical Dependency Nurses (MACDN), was founded in April 2005 by a group of Johns Hopkins Bayview Chemical Dependency Nurses.
The Board of Directors decided to obtain national status in January 2020 to allow caring nurses from other states to join our organization.
